History

Bollinger’s involvement in the Emergency Services Program began in the early 1970’s with the Peterson Ringle Agency, purchased by Bollinger in 1994. In 1999 Bollinger purchased the Young and Perry Agency, which also had a solid program in place. Today Bollinger is a leading underwriter in the industry for the NJ Rescue Squad and Fire community, representing over 250 clients. Bollinger is also ranked as the 6th largest independent insurance agency in the United States.

The ESIP Program was founded by McNeil and Company in Cortland NY. McNeil is the Managing General Agent for the program. McNeil is responsible for all of the underwriting of the ESIP Program. Bollinger is their exclusive agent in New Jersey.

Meet the ESIP Team

Linda S. Krsulic, AAI
Business Development Executive


Linda joined Bollinger in 1995. As the Business Development Executive of the Emergency Services Division of Bollinger, she is responsible for the development and maintenance of business in the ESIP program. In her current capacity, she maintains an active role in the marketing and negotiating of new and renewal business.

Prior to joining the Commercial Lines Department, Linda worked as a claims representative in our claims department working to resolve our client’s claims in a timely manner.

Linda has obtained her Accredited Advisor in Insurance (AAI) designation and is currently pursuing the Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation.

In addition to her insurance experience, she has 21 years in the emergency services field as a volunteer EMT. She has a full appreciation and understanding of the special needs inherent to the EMS industry.

 

William A. Durr, AAI
Senior Vice President


William A. Durr, Senior Vice President of Bollinger joined the firm in 1981. He serves as a Senior Client Advisor to some of Bollinger’s commercial insurance clients and oversees a large book of business. Although Bill has serviced the insurance needs of a diversified client base, his specialty market is Emergency Services Organizations including volunteer rescue squads, private ambulance services and fire companies. In addition, he focuses on insurance for contractors, visiting health services, and the food industry.

Prior to joining Bollinger, Bill was a Sales Representative for Progressive Casualty Insurance Company where he developed new sales opportunities in several states including Texas, California and Ohio. In 1983 he earned his Accredited Advisor in Insurance (AAI) designation.

Working with Bill is a team of dedicated professionals, all with a solid knowledge of the Emergency Services industry.




Gail Pastushenko
Assistant Vice President


Assistant Vice President of Bollinger, Inc., Gail Pastushenko joined the firm in 1988. She serves as an Account Manager on several of the agency’s largest commercial clients and works with various Producers in assisting to manage their books of business. Her experience is multifaceted, as she works with sophisticated accounts with an emphasis on the financial institution field.

Drawing on her exposure to some of Bollinger’s more prestigious accounts, she is well versed in all areas of the insurance field. Her diverse book of business also consists of municipalities, rescue squads and public schools.

Gail started her insurance career at Peason Agency working on both personal and commercial accounts. She was then employed by Shepard, Caulfield & McCue Agency working in the commercial lines department. Shepard, Caulfield & McCue was acquired by Bollinger in 1994.

Gail has obtained her ACSR and AAI insurance designations and is currently pursuing the CRM designation.

 

Donna L. Huron
Senior Account Executive


Donna brings over twenty-seven years of commercial insurance experience to Bollinger’s Public Entity Team. Her book of business consists of several New Jersey public and private schools, rescue squads, financial institutions, along with other diverse accounts such as non-profit organizations and contractors.

Her experience in the insurance industry started in 1977 working for several major insurance carriers with experience in claims, rating and accounting. She then moved to work with several independent agents in 1987.

Donna joined Bollinger in 2002. Prior to joining Bollinger, Donna was employed by Acordia, a national independent agency as a Senior Account Manager servicing a diverse book of business with experience in public schools, municipalities, nursing homes, habitation, manufacturing, wholesale, contracting and retail risks.

Donna has increased her insurance knowledge throughout her career and is currently working towards her AAI accreditation and has achieved the CISR designation.

She attended college at Morris County College and Kean University in the early education field.



Winston Emamudeen
Account Executive


Winston joined Bollinger 1994. He serves as an Account Executive on Bollinger’s Public Entity Team. He works with Producers and Account Managers to service a multi million-dollar book of business. Winston works on a diverse book of business including fore departments, manufacturing, retail, trucking, public schools and financial institutions.

Winston has a degree in Journalism with a minor in International trade. He is NJ State licensed in Property and Casualty Insurance.



Barbara Q. Espino, CISR
Account Executive


Barbara started her career in insurance with the Linnett Agency out of Roseland, NJ in 1998. She worked in the Commercial Lines Department of Linnett until Bollinger Insurance acquired the agency in 2001.

Presently at Bollinger, Barbra is an Account Executive on the Public Entity Team. She works with Producers and Account Managers helping to manage and service their commercial accounts. Her diverse book of business consists of public schools, municipalities, rescue squads, fire departments and financial institutions.

Barbara has obtained her CISR insurance designation and is currently pursuing the AAI designation.
